After extensive internet and forum research, review of how we built past intakes, and quick prototyping, we came up with a new wheeled intake plan. This plan includes

  • Motor placement over the robot body instead of hanging out front of the machine.
  • Four 3” wheels on the intake to move the stones all the way through to the back of the machine.
  • Room to put in a lift mechanism that does not rely on rotating the arms.

We will work on this over the Thanksgiving break as we can.
