Below is what we plan to do to get the skyscraper lift installed for this yearâs game.
The first picture below shows the stands that we put on the chassis. These stands will support the plate upon which the skyscraper arm is mounted. The plate will be bolted onto the stands so that we can easily and quickly remove the plate to access the electronics and chassis underneath. We feel that this design will provide for easier maintenance and repair. Also, this will result in a low center of gravity to help prevent toppling the robot when the skyscraper arm is extended.

We also connected the skyscraper arm motor to the expansion hubs and programmed the arm rotation. Next, we connected the skyscraper arm to the hubs and programmed the arm for extension.
